If I was anywhere I could see that view and know I could hunt the beasties of it……I’m not sure I could breath properly.

For a cornbelt, flatlander like me, here in IN, this morning was enough to quicken my heart rate and shorten my breath a bit.
Official stats of 48.9 degrees and 0.0 wind…..heavy fog.
These are the ones that fire the blood and confirm without a calander that ……

No kidding. Up @ 4:30am, hiked back down to the truck by 11, now it’s 1pm and I’m at work, eating my first meal of the day. The payoff? I was in bugling elk all morning. And as soon as I get home I’m going back out…
