This was a nice gift today to a very dry land. 6″ is great. We’ve only had 5.02″ of rain here at our house in Amarillo this year. Drought has taken a big toll on the whitetail fawns but the mule deer did OK I think. Quail are in terrible shape. So bad I wouldn’t take any if I found them. Pigs are happy though but so far totally nocturnal.
Merry Christmas and may the coming year be blessed for all.

Looks great! I love the light cast by snow. Sure hope we get a little this year…
I hope your dry spell ends.

That ought to soak in when it melts! Hope you enjoy it. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

We haven’t had much snow here in Ohio where I live and my son got me a new set of snow camos for Christmas. No snow on the ground right now and I still have some whitetail hunting to do.
Hope you guys get some more precipitation the rest of the year and on into the New Year. Wayne

I like snow for the tracking of deer and other animals in my woods. Just a skiff of snow would make it more interesting… and then I could stalk about in my new snow camos.8)
