        Gents,

Need some solutions. I have a Great Northern Bow Quiver and use the Grizzly 200 grain El Grandes. They are so long they are sticking out pretty good below the hood. I have almost cut myself a few times but like the quiver so any of you guys have any tips or solutions to this dilemma? I almost bought a Safari Tuff quiver but don’t really need to be spending that kind of $$ right now and already have a system I like so would like to see if anyone else has had this problem. Also not sure a Safari Tuff would work well with my Badland Pack but not sure. Anyway would love to hear your thoughts.

Great Northern is going be making a longer hood specifically for El Grandes and such. Or they may have already started doing so. Give ’em a call.

            Pat,

Thanks for the quick response and that might be a possibility. I would like to find a solution that does not involve buying a new one if possible as my outdoor funds are pretty limited at the moment.

The quiver that I have has an ethafoam core. Wondering, if yours is the same, if the ethafoam could be replaced or added to, to cover the broadheads. I have replaced the core on mine.

I’ve seen a couple that have a strip of leather glued to the hood to extend it down a bit to enclose the longer broadheads. Seemed like a quick, cheap and effective solution.

Thanks guys for the tips and I will probably just put a leather strip along the bottom.
