After tearing the hell out of my 3d deer target,(the single bevel rotation).I was doing some roving with my ace hex head and looking at all these dirt mounds I grabbed a broadhead out of my quiver and did some DIRTY roving.Sure was a lot easier to pull the arrow and the up,down, all over was great hunting practice!

I’ll be doing the same with field points, since I can’t find a blunt glue-on at 300 grains. But you’re right that there’s no better hunting practice than roving with broadheads. But here we’re short on soft dirt and long on rocks and fire-hardened trees you’d never get a broadhead out of.
