Hi to everyone, im new to forums, and computers for that matter. I know sounds like im 80yrs. old but 34. Never had much interest until I cheked out tradebow. Im turning cams only, for the last season. Picked up a compound in 98 two weeks before heading to Kuwait, and managed to take a mule deer doe in Utah at 12 yds. and Ive loved bow hunting ever since. Picked up a friends feb.08 copy of T.B. and have bought one ever since. There is somthing about traditional hunting stories, and gear that tickles my brain like never befor. Making the jump ,bare with me I seek lots of wise counsel.

You’re welcome here, Red. We’re always happy to help folks graduate from training wheels. 😛 dave

Red, welcome to TBH and may your addiction only grow. There is such peace about taking just the traditional bow into the woods. You will discover, just how much lighter they are to carry as well 😆

Red,
Welcome to the Forums and to the family of Traditional Bowhunters. This is a great place to pick up tips, ideas and any general information you find yourself lacking. There is so much cumulative experience on this website that it can sometimes be overwhelming just how much information is to be had. Good luck, and welcome.
Michael.

Red,
Welcome, bowhunting is a journey that only you can set the pace. Satisfaction comes from satisfying yourself, the number of animals or inches of bone mean very little to how one matures and grows in this quest. Growth comes from pushing yourself to achieve the goals you set using your own standards and not those of the manufacturers. This is one time moving backwards is progress.
