        The end of the season, and I sat watching a deer trail where they are trying (for several seasons now) to kill a hemlock by scraping off the bark, and eating the foliage. To have an old squirrel drop by and insist on telling me her life story (enough to make a sailor blush)… Y’a know, they don’t really sleep all winter, they are not alone in that hole in the tree, and they are NOT monogamous. No, didn’t see any deer, just the squirrel, and the usual blue jays, and a chickadee actually perched on my arrow.

        But it doesn’t really matter, cause I had fun.

            MERRY CHRISTMAS to all of you! It’s still dark here, but we got a white Christmas this year. T.J. and I will be heading to our daughter’s house to see those two little kiddos. One of them got a very nice St. Joe River bow for Christmas. I can’t wait to hear all about it.

            Put your phones down and enjoy your family today…unless you have a crazy family, then we’re here for ya! 😉 (Like this isn’t a crazy family, right?)

                Merry Christmas! Brown is the color of Christmas this year. It is what it is and it’s always nice to have the day of rest with family, whatever the weather.

                      Merry Christmas too! I missed it..had to work straight thru the Holiday due to a Michigan windstorm knocking the stuffing out of us..now they are saying maybe ice tomorrow!!

                          Yeah Mike with 50-60mph winds to go with it. Makes a mess of things.

                          Way better here than for those poor folks east of Dallas and other parts of the south.
