I recently bought one and am loving it. The finger stalls are plenty long for a good, deep hook, and the cordovan makes for about the smoothest release I’ve experienced without a tab.

However, I noticed that Alaska Bowhunting Supply doesn’t seem to carry them anymore, though they are still available at 3Rivers. Anyone know what the status is? If they’re about to become scarce I’ll probably buy a backup.

Hey hammer! Do the fingers sizes pretty much match what it says for large, medium, whatever. I have a large sized hand but some large gloves like duraglove are almost too snug and some others are sloppy.?

You mean it ain’t readin, ritin’ and rithmetic!Dang!! I been wrong a long time.

            R2 –

I would say that the finger sizes correspond well to the overall size. A little on the ‘snug’ side when I first got it, which is good because it will stretch a bit. I did what I usually do with all of my leather products – worked in a good treatment of Montana Pitch to moisturize and soften the leather (except for the tips), and that helps too.

I’ve been shooting an American Leathers ‘Big Shot’ for the last several years, and it’s a really nice glove as well. The glove is still nowhere near being worn out, but the nylon stalls have developed deep grooves that I’ve noticed affecting my shot lately. Also, I find the stalls to be just a hair short for my tastes. I always feel like I’m right at the edge of the stall when I hook the string. Still, that’s a personal fit issue, not a shortcoming of the glove, and it’s lasted longer than any other glove I’ve used – I just wanted to try something different. And the ‘Super’ glove seems to be fitting my bill really well so far – if it proves to be anywhere near as long-lasting as the Big Shot, I’m sold.

Thanks. I’ll go ahead and order the large. I mostly shoot a tab but I like to shoot a glove also. Besides, who knows when one might boo boo and only have one or the other around. This old feller ain’t tough enough for bare finger stuff. 😀 I have a large Dura glove but it ain’t stretching at all in the finger stalls. I happen to have a buddy who has a tad smaller hand than mine so…..maybe can recover some $$$$? Thanks again, Ralph

Yeah, I don’t think cordura stretches much at all. Not sure that cordovan will stretch much either, but the rest of the glove will. Expect a little break-in time. I still haven’t found anything that beats cordovan for an ultra-smooth release combined with long-term durability.

The Nocking Point sells the Super Glove as well. I love mine. It doesn’t develop a groove like my big shot. I turned the fingers inside out and cut the finger tips off and restitched with b-50. This helps me feel my anchor point and makes the finger stalls cover more of my fingers. Just a personal preference but it works good for me.

Got the Super glove in today and have been shooting it some. I believe it’ll be a good’n:D
