I had my Shrew Classic Hunter loaded up with some Simmons Tree Sharks for the first hunt of this season and took a large doe at 7 yards from the ground while hunting in a ghillie. It was my first shot at game with the Tree Sharks resulting in a double lung pass through and I must say that I have never seen a wound channel or a blood trail like that before, it was almost shocking to see. About an 18 yard bloodtrail that looked like it was poured out of a paint bucket. The arrow went on to lodge in the base of a sweetgum tree, a few passes with the Razor Edge and Jewelstik and it is back in the quiver. This was off of a 53#@28 bow BTW, very impressive.

Sounds like it did an impressive job —
They do look like they would leave a very wide cut, and obviously did.
I haven’t tried tree sharks — have some Centaur “Big Game heads” [ smiliar in design – but longer]need to try them out, on deer . Shot a Javelina with them, which worked as you describe.
Congrats on a nice successful hunt!
