Don’t know how many of you caught this, but National Geo had a really cool article on ‘The Evolution of Feathers’ in the Feb issue. From archery to upland hunting to fly fishing, I’m fascinated by this common thread that runs through all three:
Good article. Feathers always amaze me, Especially when I use steam to refresh the feathers after they get compressed in my quiver. Watching them pop back up to full shape is fascinating.
