The author, Dave Stalling, was conservation editor for Bugle, the journal of RMEF, back in the early days before it took the low road. He was the first to resign on principle and I applaud him for that. He’s a training wheeler but a traditional-values hunter who spends as long as a month in grizzly wilderness by himself. And a damn good writer. FYI
