Howdy All, I’m living in Arizona now, formerly from southern NY. I’ve shot a recurve for 40+ years and have been blessed to take alot of deer and other critters, shooting a BlackWidow, 49lbs, carbon arrows tipped with 100gr.muzzys no sights bare fingers. They say a post is better with photos so…

Coues deer are the hardest deer to take IMO, rifle or bow, not only the country they live in tests you, but their extreme waryness (Mt. Lions, bears LOVE to eat them)makes them my favorite animal to hunt..
Does and fawns will humble you hehhe… OTC tags for the january season(rut) are easy to get, the mountains are awesome that time of year and you can get away from any other hunters…Note: my BlackWidow is 60″long to give you an idea of their smaller size compared to the whitetails of the north-east…
