Just wondering where you guys get your feathers from? I usually go with 3 Rivers, but any shops out there much cheaper?

You might get a better deal from Kustom King Archery.

But there are a couple other things you can do as well:

1- Make your own feathers – this requires an initial investment in grinders (unless you have a belt sander) and dies. You will also have a limited quantity based on how many feathers you can get hold of…

2- Buy just white feathers by the hundred. If you want different colored feathers, you can dye the feathers yourself. There was an article a while back in TB that described how to dye your own feathers…

            Saggitarius Archery – $22 for 100 plus $5.00 shipping.

Kustom King is a little cheaper than 3RA. The Sagitarius/AMG/etc are cheaper, but I much prefer the American made TrueFlights. I can make you a pretty good deal on some TF 5.5″ shields.

I get all my feathers from a slaughter house that processes Turkeys. The slaughter house is back home in Arkansas so I only get them once a year when I go there to hunt on family land so I be sure to stock up. I go there and get a box full and then I clean and sort and dye them if needed, then I sell or give them away at my local archery club.
