Since this is turkey season here in Michigan, several people have given to me the turkey’s wings. Both right and left wings. Of course I am planning to make use of the feathers on some arrows. I have never tried this before and I am wondering, do I try to get the whole feathers out from the very end of the quill and if so, how do I go about doing this. I have tried and they are very hard to pull out…or do I snip them off as far down as I possibly can. In any event, I can’t wait to see them flying down range on some nice port orford cedar arrows!!! Thanks folks for any help you can give to me.
