Don’t know what it is, but I am a real bow buster. Must be 4 bows this year I’ve snapped.
Just snapped my latest creation, which I was especially happy with. Didn’t notice the string wearing on the top limb nock I guess. String snapped, bow cracked in riser.
Going to glue it back together and see if I can do it again 😯
Have a bow you don’t want? Let me draw it for you… Always on the draw, never a dry fire.
This latest failure is the only one for which the cause was obvious (other than me drawing it of course 😳 )

😀 I might be one up on you. I have a pile of broken bows on the back porch (again) ready for the campfire. 😀 makes me feel good to know I’m not alone here. Is there a broken bows forum? Just remember if you are not making mistakes (breaking bows) you are not learning. As for broken risers; I am now wrapping mine in fiberglass (after having several break). It Works!!!

Well actually… I did bust my noggin. Hit my nose pretty hard. I have a Bill Clinton cartoon nose. Took me a while to miss my gasses too. After I figured out what happened, I went looking for them. I figured I had about an hour before they would be covered by leaves. Anyway, by doing blood trailing circles around the scene of the crime, I finally found them about 20 yards away.
And yes, if you want me to shoot one of your bows, you will have to pay me in advance 😀

Took me a few more reads to figure out what you fellers was bustin me for 😀 Amazing how a single misplaced letter can liven things up. 🙄
