My new Kanati arrived a few days ago.

        Specs:

        #53 @ 28″

        56″ AMO

Still doing a little fine-tuning with it, but I’m very impressed with what a quick shooter this bow is. It doesn’t blink at throwing a 300 gr. point on a 5575 with authority. I had debated between 56″ AMO and 58″, and I’m glad I decided on the 56″. It’s extremely light and maneuverable in the woods. And the grip is absolutely perfect for me.

Beautiful work by Jason Kendall at JK Traditions. It’s probably a good thing he’s so swamped that he’s not taking any more orders at this time, or I’d be putting down a deposit on another one…

            Smithhammer —

very pretty bow – great design, I very much like the R/D types {especially the hand fitting grip}. Should be a great shooter – much good Luck with your new bow—

Like the colors of the bow. Glad to hear that you found one you want to spend money on again.

                    Haha.

Thanks, all. Here is one more, next to my Bark River Canadian Special, which it just happens to match quite nicely…

Is it a bad thing to have bow AND knife envy? Great looking setup you have there!
