Robin told me Larry O. Fischer (I hope that’s the right Larry! 😳 😆 ) was the man behind the decision to choose the TBM ball caps currently available. I figured this is as good a place as any to thank him for choosing a really great quality, and perfectly shaped ball cap. As I told Robin, I am VERY finicky when it comes to hats/caps, and it’s pretty rare for me to find one that I really like. Honestly, that is why I didn’t order one from the website a long time ago (I purchased it at the Kalamazoo Expo).

Patrick, I didn’t know you ever took your hat off, to tip or otherwise! 😛 That used to be me for a long time, until I finally “came out” as a closet skinhead. Still, in winter a guy needs a cap. The short-brimmed TBM camo cap is a real good idea, as I can’t wear a standard ball cap while hunting or shooting since the string hits the brim. A bandana works pretty well too and makes it appear that I can afford to own a Harley, which I can’t. 8)

It’s funny you say that, because I really do ALWAYS wear a cowboy hat, fedora, or ball cap…and alway have.
No joke: Apparently, I had worked at my current job for about 2 years before I had decided not to wear hat. There were a little over 200 people in our office at that time (we’re down to about 56 now! ), and quite a few of them didn’t even recognize me initially. Everyone thought I wore hats because I was bald. Which in fact is not even close to being the case, as I have very thick hair. It never even dawned on me until then.
I usually wear my fedora when hunting, cocking it off to one side. That, along with the angle of the bow prevents the string from hitting the brim (if it does hit, it’s just barely doing so).

Patrick, thank you, I just try to choose what I like and then hope and pray that I made the right choice. My mother ran a gift shop for many years with a co-manager and I can remember having them each show me the “duds” that the other one pick out. So no matter how careful we are we cannot please everyone, but here at TBM we try our hardest to please most.

Patrick,
Thanks for dispelling the myth that caps/hats cause baldness!
And I just got my cap in the mail and I agree that the quality is excellent. Thanks, Larry, Robin, TBM!

The coincidence is uncanny: So am I! 8)
UPDATE 03/30!: Just got my charcoal colored cap.
Now, between my “dark brown” and charcoal colored caps (it’s more like burgundy to me…but what do I know), I have one to match all my clothes.:D
