Hello new here ,think this to be my second post.
I just bought a take down recurve, and in order to get my removable quiver with the attachments, that stay in place and I can remove just quiver,I have to remove brass bushings or gromets if that is what they are called.
I had no trouble removing the lower and mounted the attachment ,however the upper limb the bushing is very tight ,I have tried spinning it with protected vice grips and it will move slighty ,but to get it out seems ,the whole to be a little small on the tight side, with out getting this to be removed my quiver is useless, any one ever have this trouble and can point me in that direction ,because at this point ,the only hope is sending back to manufactuer for help and that shouldnt be the case after just buying it brand new.
thx for any and all suggestions.

Deaddrift — Welcome aboard! This won’t be the advice you’re seeking, but I recommend forgetting about the screw-mount quiver and buying one with rubber straps. They are quick and quiet to put on and off and you won’t need to risk scratching your bow. Otherwise, I’d phone the manufacturer and ask advice. Good luck, dave

yes hiram, wood riser, there is a brass bushing in the take down limb, and the quiver attachment goes under this bushing and then you put it on top and run the long allen screw back thru the whole mess.
well as luck would have it ,since im bed bound right now cuz of spine surgery,my dad made a suprise visit from washington ,in 5 min he had figured out how to remove it and we mounted the quiver attachment re-installed and put the bow back together .
so ,now all that is needed is to recover and get back on my feet ,and go shooting .
ty all for your help.
1 more quesion ,I have my settings set to send e mail at your replies ,but im not getting notified ,can anyone help
thx

Dead — on replies, be sure that the box to the right of “subscribe to thread,” at the bottom of the posting screen, is set to “yes.” To the right of that click on “yes” for “send email.” It has always worked for me. If that doesn’t get it we will have to ask Robin, our caring webmother. Snuffy
