I came home to a house that was burglarized today. The guy came in the middle of the day got the guns and jewelry and some othe stuff. What got me was the way he set my archery equipment to the side and never took any of it. It was neatly left standing in a corner. On the bright side of this is the fact that I still have my bows….thank God!

Wow…a bit on the speechless side. Sorry to hear about your misfortune. However, at the same time, intrigued that he would take your guns, yet put your archery stuff aside neatly, almost as if to say, “This is where you belong.” For your sake, and your family’s, I hope you get your belongings back. Good luck, and God Bless.

Thieves have no taste,,it goes hand in hand with their no morals, their no brains, their no future,,,and their living the lives they deserve.
Sorry for your loss mate,,maybe they’ll shoot themselves in the foot with one of your guns, and have something else to add to their misrable lives.
John.

I know what youre going through, kinda.. My house was vandalized, burglarized this past summer as well. They were looking for my wifes prescription drugs for her back and jewelery. Most likely the jewelery was just to pawn for drug money. Nothing of mine was stolen, but they violated me, my family’s safety, just flat pissed me the hell off!! I’d love to come face to face with these people!

My wife and I have been lucky all these years, never been violated with a break in. I am sorry for your loss of guns, jewlery and other stuff. I am glad they did not get your bow. A buddy of mine had his truck broken into and his new modern compound bow just days old that he had with him showing it off.

Just now read this thread, first I’m sorry for your loss. If burglarized we feel violated
If you haven’t already you might get some good prints off your bows. They are a smooth surface & should take fingerprints well. You’ve probably thought of it or the Police have. Just a suggestion.

Thanks for all the thougths and prayers…my girls had a tough time this week. We’ve improved security and something good will come of this incident. As an update…. the Detective working this case called me last night and they had a suspect that they were planning to question. Seemed to think he may be the guy. Should know today. I’ll post when I hear anything. Planning on hunting this evening!!!
