        Who sells carbon rod:?:

Looking to stuff some old 2300 AFC’s,
need 9/64″ diameter or slightly larger.

OK. You got the curiousity up. Could you tell me about these carbon rods. How does the spine work? From the photo, I could not tell if the rods (shafts) were hollow.

              Very interesting site. Thanks.

J, a ‘rod’ is typically solid, a ‘tube’ is hollow.
On the carbon vendor site KWB mentioned, the real tip-off is the
word “solid”, as in a solid rod 😉

Don’t know how stiff the rods are yet, probably not a lot
                because of the 0.140″ diameter.

I’m copy-catting what KWB has already done with his tank-buster arrows,
search this forum and you’ll find his photos of how he does it.

Forgot to say – 9/64″ darn close to 0.140″, that’s the I.D. on my carbon shafts,
I just stuffed a 9/64″ drill-bit down inside to measure.

Thanks for the post script; I’m quite interested in what you all are doing. I’ve got a slew of questions. I’ve been searching for the tankbuster arrow post, so my questions are likely to be addressed there.
                      Keep well, and thanks.
