Both my wife and I would like you to meet our two buddies, the Shepherd’s name is Major and the Karelian Bear dog’s name is Delta. Major takes care of everything that needs guarding inside the house and Delta takes care of everything outside.

Does she like bears???? She’s crazy about them !!!! Their reputation holds true, they fear nothing and make great family dogs. Their bark is, how can I say this, very high pitch and loud.

They are a very important part of our family.

Wishing all of you a very nice day.

Those are some great looking dogs. I love dogs too but we tend to have small ones these days. We have a 15 pound chihuahua (wow!) and a Jack Russell terrier, both are tenacious but the chihuahua is the best dog alarm.

Well here’s my contribution, Toby and Copper (also known as angry whopper), litter brothers and opposite in every way.

Snuff, those are two incredible small warriors right there, it must add lots of life in the household 🙂

Pothunter, a friend of mine had the same type dogs in the community I used to live in and I remember how they always ran and jumped around everywhere, also great family dogs ! Thank you for posting them 🙂

My wife has a little “yorkie-poo” now, and she’s a cute little thing, but I like labs. My yellow lab, Nikki, had to be put down when she was 13 years old a couple years ago. She was a great dog. 🙁

SB, I’ve always liked Sheppard’s but never owned one, I had a neighbour some years ago a police officer whose work dogs were a Sheppard and Springer, the springer was trained as a bomb dog and I used to give him my old powder cans it always worried me to see the teeth marks in them, he loved his job.
My two are always busy the important thing is to ensure they are busy doing what I want them to do, left to their own devises nothing is safe from being explored.
Copper the liver and white is really my daughters dog, when she is home odd weekends he follows her everywhere and when she goes away he sulks and growls at everyone, she says he’s just purring.

Patrick, I also have a lab, 14 years old hips are bad and one elbow is shot but still gets up in the mornings and wants breakfast, we go for long walks but don’t go very far, he sniffs every blade of grass and bush, be nice if he saw another spring.

                  Mark.

                    Mark.

I can relate. They definitely become a family member. Yeah, she had congestive heart failure, could barely see, amongst other things. I didn’t even know dogs could get congetive heart failure until we found out she had it. Which explained why she was ALWAYS panting (near the end).
