EEyikes, it’s been a while since I was on here, and I apologize profusely for my sin of omission! I trust everyone had a good Thanksgiving, happy tummies and were properly thankful for all we have in this broken world!
Ours was a quiet day. The youngest was going to come and share our chicken (!) but decided to stay home and watch football instead. Besides, the house he is in was providing food from Bob Evans and he probably wanted that rather than his old man’s cooking…. :>)
Yes, it was chicken this year. The local turkey farmer closed shop due to health issues and since there was only going to be two (or possibly three) eating, I got a chicken at the local farmers’ market. It wasn’t too bad, despite what I did to it! My Sweetie liked it at any rate, or at least she claimed that it was edible.
