Found the book The Third Invention by Steve Hayes on ebay and ordered it mainly because I remember some articles that he wrote probably back in the late 70s.
He covered the aspects of archery from caveman to present. Kind of a book version of Fred Bear’s “The history of the bow is the history of mankind”. Anyway, a very readable book for those interested in our history.
If you run across it, I recommend it.
