I’m from Wexford, which comes from the viking name Weis Fjord, Old Danish for sandy harbour. Hence, Wexbow – not much imagination I know!

Goraidh, I was trying to figure out your username as it has a Gaelic spelling but wasn’t a word I knew. Makes sense now, old Scots Gaelic I’d say, I wouldn’t think it’s Norse.
