I gave 80 bucks for a 1990 Toyota Tercel in 2005 (it’s pictured in my avatar). It gets ~36mpg and all five of us fit in it. I look awful funny driving around with a jonboat or deer tied to the top, but people around here have gotten used to it. Actually, maybe they’ve come to expect things like that from me…
