How do you get the bark off?  Draw knife isn’t working.  Or I’m not as strong as I used to be.

Does the sap go to the roots when it is cold, or when days get shorter?

Shag bark was a lot easier last winter.

Seems to be very little heartwood,  and grain like Elm.  Am I right?

If so, I can make a LOT of bows out of this.
